DMCA Notice

Movie Monster does not host, store, or upload any video, media file, or copyrighted content on its own servers. Titles are described using metadata and artwork from TMDB, and playback is provided through embedded third-party players that we do not operate or control.

1. Third-party playback

Video playback on this site is embedded from third-party players. We do not upload, curate, transcode, or manage any of the underlying video files. Because that content does not reside on our infrastructure, removing a listing from Movie Monster does not remove the source video — a takedown request must also be directed to the third-party host or player responsible for the file.

2. Filing a takedown request

If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorized to act on a copyright owner's behalf, and believe that a link, embed, or listing on Movie Monster infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice to dmca@moviemonster.app with the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) on Movie Monster where the material appears.
  • Your contact information (name, email address, and, if available, phone number).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable the reported listing or embed from Movie Monster. As noted above, this only removes the reference from our site — it does not remove the underlying file from the third-party server hosting it.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with your contact information, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
